Keys to an Abundant Life

How can I fulfill God’s plan for my life? How can I achieve this abundant life Jesus spoke about? Have you ever had this thought?

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

For us to have this abundant life is not meant to be difficult. Continue reading →

Fulfilling Your Goals

It’s one thing to set goals, but another thing to fulfill them. At the first of every year many talk of setting a New Year’s resolution. At the same time, they chuckle at how the previous year’s resolution was not fulfilled and so they are attempting to try again.

I’d like to share with you what I have found to be very successful in fulfilling my goals. Continue reading →

Christmas Day

Christmas can be a lonely time for many. I once experienced such a time but the Lord showed me the way of escape.

It was 5 days before Christmas and the first time I was ever going to be alone. Even though I was going to be alone, I didn’t want to feel alone and sad. I began praying, “Lord, show me something so I won’t have to feel so alone on Christmas.” Continue reading →

A Companion Along My Journey

Psalm 91:11 AMP For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

The word accompany means “a companion on a journey.”

I remember it well. It was a summer evening in 1983. I was living in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma while working at the City of Faith. A friend who lived in Claremont, Oklahoma, had invited me to come and spend the day with her on Saturday. Continue reading →

The Holy Spirit – A Gift From God

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”. Acts 2:38

The gift of the Holy Spirit is probably the most misunderstood and neglected gift within the Body of Christ. Church splits have even taken place because of a misunderstanding. As a gift from God, the Holy Spirit is our Helper throughout our life here on the earth. What a wonderful thing this is that after Jesus ascended into Heaven the Holy Spirit was given to be with us. It is amazing how the Holy Spirit can speak to each individual specifically during a church service and say exactly what each individual needs to hear. Continue reading →

Jesus Still Heals Today – Part 2

Receiving God’s Word as medicine is like planting the seed of His Word into the soil of your heart and it will produce a harvest of healing into your body. Jesus still heals today for His Word will not return void.

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah. 55:11 Continue reading →

Jesus Still Heals Today – Part 1

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Jesus and the Word are one. Jesus is the same today as He was when He walked this earth. He is still good and still heals. The Word is still the same for it has been forever settled in Heaven. [Psalm 119:89].

For they (My Words) are life to those who find them, and health (medicine) to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:22

In the original translation the word health is the word medicine. God’s Word is medicine for the body. Continue reading →

God is Faithful to Supply All Our Needs

Philippians 4:19 But My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Although this happened years ago, I often reflect back on the many times the Lord came through for me and how faithful He is to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory. This is one of those times and I would like to share it with you. Continue reading →
