The gates of hell SHALL NOT PREVAIL against the church.

We’re on the winning side because the gates of hell SHALL NOT prevail against the church of the Living GOD.

Matthew 16:13-18   When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

 Purpose:

 1)  To equip and guide the believer through God’s Word in developing their spiritual gift that they might run their race and finish their course with joy.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.                Eph. 4:11-12 NKJV Continue reading →

JOURNEY

A Companion Along My Journey

A Companion Along My Journey

Psalm 91:11 AMP  For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].  The word accompany means “a companion on a journey.”

I remember it well.  It was a summer evening in 1983.  I was living in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma while working at the City of Faith. A friend who lived in Claremont, Oklahoma, had invited me to come and spend the day with her on Saturday.  Continue reading →

GIRL PRAYING

Lord you are welcome here.

Lord you are welcome here.

As we all know so very well, the Lord has been cast out of our schools, courts, government and city square.  Let’s welcome Him back.

In the natural, if you were no longer welcomed by your family or friends you would leave and search for new friends and go elsewhere.  But if your family apologized and welcomed you home with open arms, you would return.

I believe it would be that way with God.

Jesus Still Heals Today – Part 2

Jesus Still Heals Today – Part 2

7 steps to pray for healing

1. Have your heart settled on the truth of God’s Word that Jesus wants YOU healed just as much as He wants you saved. Both salvation and healing were provided for through Calvary including our peace. Don’t let your faith rest on what did or did not happen to someone else, but on the Word of God only.

He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.  Isaiah 53:5 Continue reading →

Jesus Still Heals Today – Part 1

 Jesus Still Heals Today

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.    Acts 10:38

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.     Hebrews 13:8 Continue reading →

America and Philippians 1:6

America was birthed on Biblical principles.  What God has begun He shall complete.

Philippians 1:6. Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Just as God has begun a good work in us and shall complete it, He has also begun and birthed a good work in America.  We must stand strong and know that He shall complete it.  Our national motto is:  In God We Trust.

Guard Your Heart

Posted on by Marilyn

God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Tim. 1:7

Fear begins with a thought. Thoughts have access to the heart through the mouth. Guard your heart [Prov. 4:23] so as not to speak the devil’s thoughts.

Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS. Phil 4:8
